GARMTECH wants the services on garmtech.com to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability.
Target standards and review
We assess each customer-facing interface separately because they use different software and have different accessibility coverage. The status below reflects the standards, tests, and limitations that apply to each interface. Unless stated otherwise, these are internal assessments, not independent certifications.
Public website
We assess garmtech.com against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the web requirements of EN 301 549 V3.2.1. Our internal review includes automated tests, keyboard navigation checks, and representative pages in English, Latvian, and Russian. The public pages tested substantially conform to the target standards, subject to the limitations below.
Improvements we have implemented include:
- semantic page structure, a skip-to-content link, and visible keyboard focus;
- text contrast, form labels, error announcements, and autofill hints;
- keyboard operation of the domain search and carousels;
- support for the reduced-motion preference.
Client portal
The provider of the current client-portal interface states that it conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act. The interface provides keyboard access to essential components, a logical focus order, visible focus indicators, screen-reader support through semantic markup and ARIA, accessible element names, improved contrast, and layouts that remain usable with zoom and on smaller screens.
GARMTECH reviews the portal in our configuration and its integrations and remediates barriers within our control. Add-ons, payment services, and other third-party content may have different accessibility coverage.
Hosting-management interface
The hosting-management interface is partially accessible. Its provider reports that the most frequently used pages and popular extensions partially conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, EN 301 549 V3.2.1, and the requirements of the European Accessibility Act.
Accessibility improvements include text and layout scaling up to 200%, keyboard and screen-reader support, semantic HTML and ARIA, WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, and visible focus in key areas. Some pages still apply semantic markup and ARIA inconsistently, some images may lack alternative text, and some pages may not identify the correct language. Accessibility may also vary between extensions.
Support system
GARMTECH has remediated accessibility barriers in the customer-facing support system and tested the updated interface against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Following those changes, the pages and support workflows reviewed conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Improvements cover semantic structure, keyboard operation, visible focus, form labels, error feedback, contrast, and assistive-technology support. This is a GARMTECH internal assessment, not an independent certification. We repeat testing after material system updates and address issues we identify.
Known limitations
Payment services, webmail, CAPTCHA, and some hosting-management functions depend on third-party software. Accessibility may vary in those areas. We test the integrations we control and report confirmed barriers to the relevant provider.
